When you leave comments on this site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as your IP address and browser user agent string to help us detect spam.
An anonymized string (also known as a “hash”) created from your email address may be provided to the service to determine if you are using the Gravatar service. The service's privacy policy can be found at https://automattic.com/privacy/. If your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly displayed along with your comment.

When you upload images to this site, you should not upload images that contain location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download images from the site and extract location data.
Cookies
When you leave a comment on this site, you may opt-in to have your name, email address, and site stored in a cookie. This is for your convenience and saves you from having to re-enter your details when you leave other comments. This cookie is retained for one year. When you visit the login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser can accept cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser. When you log in, we also set several cookies to retain your login and display information. The login cookie is retained for two days, and the display options cookie is retained for one year. Duration of data retention
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of keeping them in the moderation queue. If you are a registered user on this site, we will store the personal information you provide on your user profile page. All users can view, edit, and delete your personal information (but not change your user name). The site administrator can also view and edit such information.
