Our Commitment

CASSETTE WALL & CEILING®

Development of Environmentally Friendly Products
(Sound Absorbing Material CASSETTE WALL & CEILING®)

We Are Working on the Following to Reduce Environmental Impact

  • 1. Proactive Use of Recycled Pellets

Approximately 52% of our polyester sound absorbing materials are made from recycled pellets, and we are aiming for 80% use in the future.

  • 2.Designing Easily Recyclable Products

We develop products using only polyester because the products made with multiple materials make recycling difficult.

  • 3.Effective Use of Waste Materials

We donate sound-absorbing materials made with waste materials to public institutions for social contribution and reduction of waste.

  • 4.Longer-Life Products

The molding method and ingenuity of heat treatment make the product washable.

You can wash dirt off and use them repeatedly; this sustainability improves the products lifespan.

It is also possible to replace parts of the products.

  • 5.Aiming to Establish a Circular Economy

We enable a circular economy by collecting sound-absorbing materials that customers no longer need and recycle them into new products.
We call on our customers to help participate in recycling.

Industry-University Cooperation

Industry-University Collaboration

  • We aim to further improve by acquiring knowledge from academic experts and collaborating on joint research with universities. We continue our research so that the improvement of our sound-absorbing materials will mitigate stress and enhance the quality of our customers' lives.
FY2023 Results: Joint Research on "Relationship Between Reverberation Time Discrimination Threshold and Acoustic Quality" / Assistant Professor Kazunori Harada, Okayama Prefectural University
  • We are engaged in social contribution activities together with Konko Gakuen High School.
We organize seminars focused on the SDGs and donate sound-absorbing materials made from recycled waste to childcare facilities. These initiatives provide high school students with valuable learning opportunities while contributing to their education.
  • Through our collaboration with industry, academia, and government,we work to enhance the environment of childcare facilities.
Additionally, we create a sound-friendly environment with our materials and offer workshops to support intellectual development.
Human Resource Development and Business Succession

Human Resource Development and Business Succession

  • We also focus on developing the company’s internal environment with our passion that we believe human resources are important for development of the company.
In April 2023, we increased the number of annual vacation days to 115 days and implemented a new scholarship reimbursement support system. In addition, we have been certified as an Okayama Childcare Support Declaration Company, and we make an effort to make a good working environment.
The Planning and Sales Department establishes a business system and provides in-house training for new graduates to broaden their experiences.

In Conclusion

As a manufacturing company, we have initiated a resource recycling system to promote responsible consumption and production. While we face significant challenges, we are committed to making a meaningful contribution to a sustainable society. We appreciate the cooperation of consumers—both individuals and businesses—in balancing responsible consumption and production.
